WHAT WE DO

What Every A-1 Installation Includes:

Whether you’re swapping one fryer or outfitting a new kitchen, an A-1 installation covers every step from the old unit coming out to the new one running under real conditions.

  1. Take out the equipment being replaced.
  2. Haul away and dispose of old equipment according to Wisconsin and local rules.
  3. Unbox the new unit and check it for shipping damage.
  4. Position, level and anchor it, with restraint cables on gas equipment that sits on casters.
  1. Run the dedicated circuit, receptacle or disconnect it needs, and make or coordinate water and gas connections with licensed trades where required.
  2. Fire it up, verify it performs as the manufacturer intends, and show your crew how to run it.
  3. Handle manufacturer warranty claims if anything fails right out of the box.

SIMPLE, FAST, RELIABLE

How Equipment Installation Works

The steps from your first call to new equipment running in your kitchen.

Call or Request Online

Call 414-404-9739 or use the online form. Tell us what’s coming out, what’s going in and when you need it running, plus the equipment’s electrical and gas requirements if you have the spec sheet. That’s how we spot a panel or circuit upgrade before install day.

Schedule Your Installation

We schedule around your service hours and the weather. Rooftop units and large deliveries are easier to plan outside the worst of winter, when snow and ice complicate lifts and roof work, and kitchen installs are often best timed for slower weeks.

Remove, Prep & Install

Your technician pulls and disposes of the old unit, preps and sets the new one to the manufacturer’s specifications and completes its electrical work. Where Wisconsin requires a licensed plumber or gas fitter, those connections are handled by one.

Test, Document, & Follow Up

Before leaving, the technician runs the equipment under a real load, trains your staff and files any out of box warranty claims for you. Since A-1 also services what it installs, future calls on that unit go to people who set it up.

Highly Skilled Technicians

A-1 technicians train through Tech24 University and bring electrical and HVAC skills to every installation, so equipment is set, powered and ventilated correctly the first time.

We Stock the Most Commonly Used Parts

Install day goes smoother with the right hardware on hand, so trucks carry receptacles, locking plugs, disconnects, wire, gas connectors, restraint cables, water fittings and leveling legs.

90-Day Guarantee

A-1 installation work carries A-1’s 90 day parts and labor guarantee. Any installation related issue that surfaces within those 90 days is corrected on a return visit.

Planned Maintenance Programs

Start new equipment on a maintenance plan the day it’s installed, with visits timed before winter and before summer to keep it running efficiently and protect the warranty.

Equipment, Power And Air, One Installer

Gas, electric, steam and dual fuel cooking equipment, walk ins and refrigeration, rooftop HVAC and make up air, plus the circuits they need, installed by one company instead of three.
